Do ladies every forget anything we tell them?

So, I had a conversation with mother, This week and while we spoke; she prompted my mind to an ancient occurence that happened long ago.

I told her plainly, “Mother I don’t remember such incident. I don’t think I was

around when such happened, maybe I travelled.”

I wasn’t lying; I just didn’t believe I was around when such occurrence took place. Mum disagreed. She said: “no, this is exactly what you said.”

She ended up quoting an astounded me word for word, literally. I was in dead shock and like Simon Peter who denied Jesus. I remembered and sunk my head, not in shame; In Awe!

How could she remember so aptly?

It happened exactly 31st of December as I actually recall it. But mum still remembered In August. After 8 months?!

It made me wonder what will happen if I mistakenly forgot her birthday or I unfortunately make a bad comment about her dress. She may never forget…in a lifetime.

Now that really sacred me. And I began to ask myself if there was anything ladies ever forgot.

Supposedly I said to a plumy lady that she was fat or ugly and I apologise afterwards; does that mean she may forgive but never forget?

Why can’t ladies just be like men and forget stuffs? It is pretty scary to live in a women’s world then. I had better be careful with my words in the future.
