Retired Soldier,President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Commander in Chief of the Nigeria Armed Forces, Statesman and Farmer was born on march 5,1937
in Ibogun Village via Abeokuta,Ogun state.
Married Remilekun Obasanjo,Stella Abebe,Taiwo Obasanjo,Gold Oruh and Moji Obasanjo and he was blessed with Twenty one children.
Education:-Baptist Boys High School, Abeokuta and enlisted in the Nigerian Army in the year 1958, trained at Mons Officers Cadet School,Aldershot, UK,Royal College of Military Engineering,Chatham,England,       School of Engineering  Survey,Newburyport,England,      Indian Defence Staff College.
