We collected N2m as our share, we have 38 guns — Abductors of Turkish school students, staff members

Two members of the gang that allegedly took part in the kidnapping of eight students and staff of Nigeria Turkish International College (NTIC), Ogun State, have disclosed that they received N2 million each for the operation.
They also confessed to the killing of a
TV presenter, Aisha Alli Balogun and kidnap of her daughter and friend in Ikorodu area of Lagos recently.
The suspects, Alex Supper alias Yanga and Ayeomi Egbasimokumo were on Monday night arrested by the operatives of the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team.
Sources in the IGP’s team told Metro that the suspects were arrested around Majidun river while they were attempting to escape from the creek.
Supper, while speaking with newsmen said: “I am a native of Arogbo town in Ondo State but I came to Lagos and joined the kidnapping gang in 2016. One of my friends Austen invited me to the gang and we worked with Stone who is a commander of the camp. Stone also worked under Ossy, our overall boss.”
The 21-year-old suspect revealed that his gang had 38 rifles at Ajegunle area of Ikorodu, adding: “our first operation was on Ajegunle- Majidun Road and we were seven who went for the operation.
“We divided ourselves into three: some were in front; others were in the middle; while the rest were behind. We shot indiscriminately but the people in front were the ones who killed people.”
On the killing of the TV presenter, the suspect claimed that it was the leader of his gang, simply identified as Americana, who killed her.
“The woman almost killed him before he shot her. Stone who was the leader of camp was not happy with the killing but Americana said he was left with no other option,” Supper said.
He also stated that “we kidnapped six persons, including the woman’s two-year-old daughter and a ransom of N2 million was paid before their release.”
“Someone who claimed to be the deceased’s husband paid N500,000 while other victims paid N1.5 million. I got N45,000 as my share.”
He disclosed that it was one of the gang leaders, Julius, who brought the job of the kidnapping of the Turkish school girls and staff members about three weeks ago.
“When we kidnapped the girls, we didn’t beat them while we negotiated with their relatives. This was   because one of the students and the foreigner among them assured us that the money we demanded would be paid by their parents and the school authorities.”
The suspects said that his gang members used to beat their victims and make them cry on the phones while talking to their relatives “but we didn’t beat the Turkish students. When the money was paid, I got N2 million and I was also monitoring the news. I didn’t know that my colleagues had been arrested until I was arrested.”
