Two days after a University lecturer identified as Professor Akindele Adetoye called out 2face Idibia for planning what is deemed the first nationwide protest against bad
governance by the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration, the professor has apologised.
Recall that the lecturer in a message on his Facebook page said 2face had no moral justification for the protest and also called him an illiterate who had s*x with all manner of girls without condom.
“You are a bloody illiterate. You had sex with all manners of girls without using condoms. You impregnated them and made babies all over the place. You now want to lead protest against the government because of lack of governance! Have you governed your own personal life? Charity, they say begins at home.
Nonsense!” He wrote on his Facebook page.
Realising his mistake following the deluge of backlash he got from his colleagues, friends and scores of Nigerians after he posted the message on Facebook, Adetoye said he’s sorry.
Adetoye said 2face like him and many other Nigerians are in love with our nation and it was in finding a lasting solution to our national malaise that his passion took the best of him when he made the comments.
